Description:

This seal keeps grease in the wheel bearings and grit and water out. Once it hardens or tears, the bearing loses its grease and picks up contamination, then fails not long after. Fitting a fresh seal protects the bearing and is cheap to do while the wheel is off. Replace it whenever you service or renew the bearings.
